Clinical Pilates classes at SSSMC are small group exercise classes designed by physiotherapists. They are based on Pilates and utilise the latest research in core strengthening and stability.
The classes a designed to build strength and endurance in your back, abdominal, gluteal and pelvic floor muscles which in turn can;
– improve posture and alignment
– assist in the management of chronic low back and neck pain
– improve balance and co-ordination
– prevent injury
– improve sports performance.
All classes are taught by physiotherapists and classes are limited to 8 participants to ensure personalised exercise prescription and adequate supervision. One on one sessions are also available.
