What is Pilates?
Pilates is a system of physical and mental conditioning
originally developed by Joseph Hubertus Pilates in 1906. It
involves training the body to move with control and
stability through a series of exercises designed to engage
and strengthen core muscles.
What is core?
‘Core’ is a term used to describe the group of muscles which
have a specific function of maintaining good body alignment
and controlling movement of the spine and pelvis.
Some of these muscles include:
