About Us
South Sydney Sports Medicine was founded in 1986 by Liz Steet, Dr. Nathan Gibbs, and Dr. Grace Bryant. We are a multidisciplinary sports medicine centre. South Sydney Sports Medicine Centre is located in the heart of Kensington, Sydney. Our main goal is to provide the best service in sports medicine.
 
Some of the services we provide are:

We at South Sydney Sports Medicine are the medical team for many sporting teams, such as the Sydney Roosters, South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Sydney Swans, just to mention a few. We have extensive knowledge and expertise within many different sporting facilities.
What Should I Wear?

  • Please wear clothing that will make the area that you are having treated easily accessible
  • Please bring your own shorts if you are having your knee, hip or spine examined
  • Please wear a singlet or a top/shirt that does not have too many buttons if you are having your shoulders/elbows examined

    What Should I Bring?

  • Copies of any previous scans or reports relating to the problem area that you are having examined
  • If you have seen anybody about the particular injury please try and bring a progress letter
  • A list of any medication (regardless of its purpose) and their doses
  • A list of any allergies that you are aware of
  • Your private health insurance card if you are having physiotherapy
  • Your claim number and insurance company - if the injury is related to a worker's compensation claim
  • Current Medicare or Veteran Affairs card for x-rays ONLY
  • Referral letter from your GP, family physician or other doctor for orthopaedic specialists and x-ray ONLY
